Health Department

Over the years the Jamestown Tribe has developed many health programs designed to meet the needs of tribal citizens with an overall goal of improving the health status of the Tribal population.

The following are core components that together serve as a foundation for Health Programs and Services currently available to Tribal citizens:

  • The Jamestown Family Health Clinic - provides Tribal and community access to primary care medical services

  • The Jamestown Family Dental Clinic - provides Tribal and community access to oral health care prevention, diagnosis and treatment

  • Managed Care Program - the financial source that pays for health insurance, co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles and other medically necessary services for Tribal citizens living in Clallam or East Jefferson Counties

  • Community Health and Wellness - Health education and prevention including wellness activities specifically designed to address top priority health care issues for the Jamestown Tribal population

  • Health Benefits for Out-of-area Tribal Citizens - a benefits package available to Tribal citizens living outside of Clallam and East Jefferson Counties.
